Texas Offers Buford OL Hunter Wilson
Buford Wolves lineman Hunter Wilson, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound Class of 2026 prospect, has received a scholarship offer from the University of Texas. Wilson, who played in the 2025 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Game, is considered one of the top linemen in the state of Georgia. He has also received offers from Georgia Tech, Auburn and Kentucky. In his junior season, Wilson helped lead the Wolves to a 12-1 record and a state semifinal appearance, starting 10 games at left tackle. He was named All-State Second Team by the Georgia Sports Writers Association. Wilson is expected to attend the 2026 Georgia Football Coaches Association All-Star Game and is considering official visits to Texas and Georgia Tech in the coming months.
