Local Flag Prospects Eye Ottawa University, Keiser University Camps
Benedictine Cadets' standout flag football players are being courted by NAIA powerhouses Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida. The two institutions are actively recruiting for their inaugural 2028 seasons. Ottawa University, a KCAC powerhouse, offers up to 12 scholarships, while Keiser University has a reputation for aggressive recruiting. For local prospects seeking to elevate their game, Ottawa University and Keiser University are hosting camps this summer. The Benedictine Cadets' top performers are encouraged to register for these camps to gain exposure and potentially secure a spot on a roster. Liz and Katie Sowers, the University of Nebraska's inaugural head coaches, are expected to make appearances at these camps, further solidifying the connection between the Cadets and the Power 4 program.
