Buford Wolves QB Tyler Harris Commits to Arkansas
Buford Wolves senior quarterback Tyler Harris has committed to play for the University of Arkansas, the school announced Thursday. Harris, a Class of 2025 prospect, chose the Razorbacks over other Power Five offers. The 6-foot-3 quarterback is expected to compete for the starting spot at Arkansas, which runs a similar spread offense to the one he's familiar with at Buford. The Razorbacks' depth chart at quarterback is expected to be up for grabs, and Harris believes he can make an immediate impact. Arkansas' strong academic program and commitment to student-athlete success also factored into his decision. Harris previously held offers from Georgia and Tennessee, but decommitted from the Bulldogs in May to focus on his recruitment. He threw for 2,500 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior for the Wolves.
