Collins Hill LB Darius Allen Commits to Army

Collins Hill linebacker Darius Allen has committed to Army. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Class of 2026 prospect chose the Black Knights over offers from Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina and Georgia State. Allen's commitment comes after a productive summer camp session with Army coaches. The Collins Hill Eagles' defense is expected to feature a 4-3 scheme this season, a system that aligns with Allen's athletic abilities. Army's depth chart at linebacker is also expected to be impacted by graduation, creating an opportunity for Allen to contribute early. The academy's academic program, which emphasizes leadership and service, also appealed to Allen. He had previously committed to Georgia State but reopened his recruitment in June.
