Mill Creek Hawks Promote Assistant Coach to Coordinator Role

The Mill Creek Hawks, a 7A program from Hoschton, have elevated assistant coach, Michael Johnson, to coordinator. Johnson spent five seasons developing talent on the Hawks' staff. His promotion comes as the team seeks to build on a 2024 record of 8-4. The Hawks will face increased competition in the newly formed Region 7-7A, which includes perennial powers, Buford and Lambert. Johnson's familiarity with the program and his recruiting expertise are expected to play a key role in the Hawks' quest for a region title. His new role will also allow him to take a more prominent role in game planning and in-game decisions. The Hawks' coaching staff is now set for the upcoming season as they prepare for summer camp and the start of fall practice.
