Florida Offers 2027 Tight End Prospect Austin Johnson
The University of Florida has extended an offer to Class of 2027 tight end Austin Johnson, a standout for the Mill Creek Hawks in 7A. Johnson, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound athlete, boasts a 4.65 40-yard dash time and averaged 15.2 yards per reception last season. In addition to the Gators, Johnson has also received offers from Georgia and Tennessee. This season, Johnson will look to build on his impressive junior campaign, which included 23 receptions for 353 yards and 4 touchdowns. With his size, speed and athleticism, Johnson is an attractive prospect for college programs. Johnson is expected to attend several camps and combines throughout the summer, including the Georgia Football Camp and the Nike Opening Regional. He will also participate in the GHSA's annual Media Day in late August.
