S Players Shine with Speed and Agility Ladder Drill

๐Ÿ“ Kamehameha WarriorsยทTuesday, July 7, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

At Kamehameha Warriors Open programs, S players can expect to improve their speed, agility, and acceleration with this dynamic drill. The Speed and Agility Ladder Drill consists of 3 sets, 10 reps each, with 30 seconds rest in between. Players will start in a 5-foot ladder, focusing on quick footwork and rapid changes of direction. Coach's cue: 'Fast feet, slow body.' As players progress, the ladder will be placed on a 45-degree angle, simulating game-like scenarios. This drill translates to game performance by enhancing S players' ability to quickly close gaps and cover receivers. It also improves their reaction time and ability to stay in phase with the offense.
