Flag Football Recruiting: Hawaii's Kamehameha Warriors Eye Opportunities in the Lone Star State

The HHSAA's flag football pilot district expansion in Texas is creating new scholarship pathways for female athletes. As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska is leading the charge with coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the helm. Nebraska is offering Power 4-caliber opportunities in the Big Ten Conference. Meanwhile, Ottawa University, Kansas, is a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships available. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also active recruiters. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, is a Texas-based option. Kamehameha Warriors from Honolulu, Hawaii, should take note of these verified scholarship programs and begin exploring their options.
