QB Elijah Hall Commits to Texas Tech
Punahou's Elijah Hall, a Class of 2025 quarterback, has committed to Texas Tech University. Hall, a dual-threat signal-caller, chose the Red Raiders over other Power Five suitors. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect cited Texas Tech's air-raid offense as a major factor in his decision, saying the scheme aligns with his skills and playing style. With the departure of incumbent starter Tyler Shough, Hall believes he has a legitimate chance to earn a starting role early in his collegiate career. Additionally, the university's renowned engineering program was a significant draw for Hall, who plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. Hall decommitted from Oregon State in April after visiting the campus, but ultimately felt Texas Tech was the best fit for his athletic and academic goals. Hall will join the Red Raiders in the summer of 2025.
