As the University of Nebraska prepares to launch its inaugural NCAA Division 1 flag football season in 2028, prospects from the Saint Louis Crusaders in Honolulu are taking notice. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers have been actively recruiting top talent for the program. For Saint Louis players, this means a potential scholarship opportunity in the Big Ten Conference. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, also offer verified scholarship programs in flag football. Midland University, Nebraska, is another active recruiter to consider. While UT Arlington's program is still in development, it may offer scholarships in the future. Prospective athletes should research and reach out to these schools directly to explore their scholarship options.
