Jordan Thomas Commits to University of Houston

Jordan Thomas, a safety from the Class of 2027 and Kamehameha Warriors, has committed to the University of Houston. Thomas, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect, cited the Cougars' aggressive defensive scheme as a key factor in his decision. He believes the program's emphasis on creating turnovers and pressuring the quarterback aligns with his own playing style. Additionally, Thomas is drawn to the depth chart opportunity at safety, where he sees a chance to contribute immediately. The University of Houston's strong academic program and research opportunities also appealed to Thomas, who is considering a major in engineering. Thomas had previously committed to the University of Oregon but decommitted in May to explore other options.
