Jayden Davis Commits to UTSA Roadrunners
Jayden Davis, a Class of 2025 running back from Southeast Polk High School, has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners. The 4A standout chose UTSA due to the team's emphasis on a power-running scheme, which aligns with his skills as a between-the-tackles runner. Additionally, Davis cited the Roadrunners' need for depth at running back, providing him with an opportunity to contribute immediately. The UTSA academic program also played a significant role in his decision, as Davis plans to pursue a degree in business administration. Davis previously held a commitment to another school but reopened his recruitment in April, allowing him to explore other options before ultimately choosing UTSA. He is expected to enroll at the university in January 2025.
