Get ready to elevate your kicking game with the Rigby Trojans' Kicking Shuttle Drill, a high-intensity workout designed to build explosive power and accuracy for 5A kickers. This drill targets the key muscles responsible for generating speed and distance on kickoffs and punts. To perform the drill, set up two cones 10 yards apart, with a third cone 5 yards behind the second. K kickers will start at the first cone, explosively kick the ball through the second cone, and immediately shuttle back to the third cone, where they'll catch a snap and kick the ball through the first cone. Perform 3 sets of 10 reps, focusing on quick acceleration and deceleration. Coaching cues include 'kick through the numbers' and 'shuttle like a linebacker.'
