TE Power: Rigby Trojans' Summer Camp Drill for Tight End Dominance

๐Ÿ“ Rigby TrojansยทSaturday, July 4, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The Rigby Trojans' coaching staff is gearing up for a strong 5A season, and their tight end players are no exception. To improve their blocking and receiving skills, the Trojans will be running a summer camp drill that targets the TE's ability to seal the edge and create separation. The 'SEAL' drill consists of 3 sets of 5 reps: Set 1 - 10-yard line to end zone, Set 2 - 5-yard line to end zone, Set 3 - 1-yard line to end zone. Coaches will yell 'SEAL' as the TE approaches the line, and players must use a combination of footwork and hand placement to seal the edge. This drill translates to game performance by improving the TE's ability to block and create space in the passing game.
