Boise Brave's Multisport Star Eyes Flag Football Scholarship Opportunities
Boise Brave's standout athlete, Emma Johnson, has made a name for herself in multiple sports. However, with the introduction of flag football scholarships, Johnson is now focusing on the sport as a potential college opportunity. Johnson has been in contact with the University of Nebraska, where coaches Liz and Katie Sowers are building the inaugural 2028 season's roster. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are also actively recruiting Johnson, offering up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, has expressed interest in her multisport background. Meanwhile, UT Arlington is developing its program, but has not yet offered scholarships. Johnson's path to a flag football scholarship is clear: she must continue to impress coaches at these verified programs and meet their recruiting standards.
