Rocky Mountain Grizzlies' Multi-Sport Star Eyes Flag Football Scholarship Opportunities

๐Ÿ“ Rocky Mountain GrizzliesยทMonday, July 20, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The Rocky Mountain Grizzlies' standout athlete, a local multisport phenom, is shifting focus to girls flag football as she pursues NCAA and NAIA scholarship opportunities. With the 2028 inaugural season of NCAA Division 1 flag football on the horizon, the University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is at the forefront of the Power 4 schools offering flag football scholarships. The Grizzlies' star can also explore NAIA options, including Ottawa University, Kansas, which offers up to 12 scholarships, and Keiser University, Florida, an active recruiter in the sport. Midland University, Nebraska, is another NAIA institution actively recruiting flag football talent. As UT Arlington's NCAA Division 1 program develops, it may become a viable option for the Grizzlies' athlete. To capitalize on these opportunities, the multisport star should create a highlight tape showcasing her skills and begin reaching out to coaches at these institutions.
