Boise Brave's Multisport Standout Eyes Flag Football Scholarships
Boise Brave's standout multisport athlete, Emily Wilson, is making a calculated move to flag football as she seeks college opportunities. With the inaugural 2028 season of NCAA Division 1 flag football on the horizon, Wilson is focusing on verified scholarship programs. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is a top target, offering a Power 4 program in the Big Ten Conference. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, also offer NAIA scholarships, with Ottawa University providing up to 12. Midland University, Nebraska, is another active recruiter. Wilson is advised to create highlight tapes showcasing her skills and contact the coaches directly to discuss potential opportunities. As UT Arlington develops its NCAA D1 program, Wilson will closely monitor their progress.
