USC Extends Offer to Mountain View TE DeShawn Thomas

The University of Southern California has extended a scholarship offer to DeShawn Thomas, a tight end prospect from the Mountain View Mavericks in the Illinois 5A classification. Thomas, a rising senior in the Class of 2027, stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. He recorded 34 receptions for 542 yards and 7 touchdowns in his sophomore season. Thomas has also received scholarship offers from Purdue and Northwestern, with interest from other Big Ten programs.
