Jayden Thomas Commits to Houston Football Program
Twin Falls Bruins tight end Jayden Thomas has committed to the University of Houston football program, according to sources. The Class of 2026 prospect chose the Cougars over other Power Five offers. Thomas cited Houston's pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision, noting it aligns with his skills and experience in the 4A Idaho high school ranks. He also praised the Cougars' tight end depth chart, which he believes will provide opportunities for growth and development. Additionally, Thomas highlighted Houston's strong academic programs, including its business and engineering schools, which align with his academic interests. Thomas previously held offers from Boise State and Washington State, but ultimately chose the Cougars after a summer camp visit in June. He will join the Cougars in the fall of 2027.
