Boise Brave's Multisport Star Eyes Flag Football Scholarship Opportunities
The Boise Brave's standout multisport athlete, senior standout Emily Wilson, is shifting her focus to flag football in pursuit of a college scholarship. Wilson's impressive track record in multiple sports has caught the attention of several NAIA and NCAA D1 programs. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is an attractive option for Wilson, as they are set to launch their inaugural flag football season in 2028. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse in flag football, offers up to 12 scholarships, making it a prime destination for Wilson. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also actively recruiting Wilson. Meanwhile, UT Arlington is developing its program, but has not yet begun offering scholarships. Wilson can take concrete steps by creating a highlight tape showcasing her skills and contacting these programs directly to explore scholarship opportunities.
