As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska's Power 4 flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, continues to attract top talent. For local prospects, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, offer verified scholarship pathways. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, and Keiser University, an active recruiter, are hosting camps this summer. The St. Rita Mustangs, a 7A Chicago team, are encouraged to attend these camps to explore scholarship opportunities. Prospective student-athletes can register for Ottawa University's camp by visiting their website, while Keiser University's camp registration is available through their athletic department. Midland University, Nebraska, also offers scholarships and is an active recruiter, making it another option for local flag prospects.
