Carson Allen Commits to Navy
Brother Rice kicker Carson Allen, a Class of 2025 standout, has committed to the United States Naval Academy. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound specialist joins the Midshipmen's program after a strong showing in the IHSA's 8A division. Allen's commitment comes after a thorough evaluation of Navy's kicking system, which aligns with his skills and experience. The Crusaders' kicker expects to contribute immediately, bolstering the Midshipmen's special teams unit. Additionally, Allen is drawn to Navy's academic program, which will allow him to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. Allen had previously committed to another program but decommitted in order to focus on his recruitment. He is expected to report to Navy's summer camp in August, where he will begin preparations for the upcoming season.
