Mount Carmel Caravan Breaks Ground on $1M Facility Upgrade

The Mount Carmel Caravan football program officially broke ground on a $1 million facility upgrade project, set to be completed before the start of the upcoming season. The 8A program, fresh off a 7-3 record in 2025, aims to build on its recent success with the new facilities. The upgrade includes a renovated weight room, expanded locker rooms and a state-of-the-art video analysis room. The Caravan has been actively recruiting top talent from the Chicago area, and the new facilities are expected to give them a competitive edge in the recruiting process. The program's head coach, Joe DiMaggio, believes the upgrade will help the team take their game to the next level and compete for a state championship.
