Cade Wilson Commits to Navy Football Program
St. Rita Mustangs wide receiver Cade Wilson has committed to the United States Naval Academy football program. The Class of 2026 prospect chose Navy over other Division I offers, citing the Midshipmen's triple-option offense as a key factor in his decision. Wilson believes his skills will translate well to the team's scheme, and he is excited about the opportunity to compete for a starting role. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound receiver also praised Navy's academic program, noting that it aligns with his academic goals. Wilson had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in order to explore other options. He is expected to enroll at Navy in the fall of 2026 and participate in the team's summer camp. Wilson's commitment adds to the growing list of Illinois high school football players who have chosen to attend the Naval Academy.
