Bryce Martin Commits to UTSA
Loyola Academy linebacker Bryce Martin has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) for the class of 2026. Martin, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound athlete, chose the Roadrunners after considering several Division I programs. The Ramblers' standout linebacker cited UTSA's 3-4 defensive scheme as a key factor in his decision, as it aligns with his skillset and playing style. Martin also praised the Roadrunners' depth chart opportunity, stating that he expects to compete for a starting position immediately. Additionally, he expressed enthusiasm for UTSA's academic program, noting the university's strong reputation for business and engineering. Martin had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in April, ultimately choosing UTSA over several other Division I offers.
