Loyola Academy Breaks Ground on $2M Facility Upgrade

Loyola Academy, a perennial powerhouse in Illinois 8A football, has officially broken ground on a $2 million facility upgrade. The Ramblers, who finished 9-3 last season and reached the quarterfinals of the IHSA playoffs, will benefit from the renovations, which include a new turf field, upgraded locker rooms and a state-of-the-art weight room. The improvements are expected to give the program a competitive edge in recruiting, particularly in attracting top talent from the Chicago suburbs. With the upgrade, Loyola Academy aims to build on its recent success and make a deep run in the playoffs this fall. The project is set to be completed in time for the start of the 2026 season.
