Ohio State Offers Rising Linebacker Jayden Thompson

Ohio State University has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2026 linebacker Jayden Thompson of Westfield High School's Shamrocks (5A) program. Thompson, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound athlete, has impressed college scouts with his speed, agility and tackling ability. He recorded 120 tackles and 15 sacks as a sophomore. Thompson has also received offers from Indiana, Purdue, and Michigan State. He is expected to make official visits to all three schools in the coming months. Thompson's recruitment is heating up as he prepares for his junior year, with several top programs eyeing his services. His decision is expected to come in the spring of 2027, with a possible commitment announcement in the summer of that year.
