Center Grove's Darius Moore Makes History with Power 4 Offer
Darius Moore's 4.38 40-yard dash time at the IHSAA's elite combine last winter caught the attention of college scouts. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound wide receiver from Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Indiana, is the first player from the program to earn a Power 4 offer, joining the likes of Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, and Notre Dame. Moore's impressive speed and agility on the field have made him a coveted prospect in the Class of 2025. As a sophomore, he hauled in 23 receptions for 342 yards and 3 touchdowns, earning him All-Mid-State Conference honors. Moore's summer will be filled with training sessions and camps, where he'll look to refine his route-running skills and build on his already impressive speed. Scouts are watching for Moore to develop his hands and become a more polished receiver, as well as to see how he adapts to the physicality of the 6A level.
