Texas Offers Cathedral TE Jalen Davis
The University of Texas has extended a scholarship offer to Jalen Davis, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. Davis, a rising senior in the Class of 2025, has also received offers from Indiana, Purdue and Ball State. The 5A standout recorded 24 receptions for 343 yards and 4 touchdowns as a junior, averaging 14.3 yards per catch. A two-way player, Davis also saw time on defense, tallying 35 tackles and 2 interceptions. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff have been monitoring Davis's progress throughout the spring and summer, and the offer is a testament to the tight end's growing reputation as one of the top prospects in the Midwest. Davis is expected to attend a series of camps and combines in July and August before making a decision on his college destination.
