Carson White Commits to University of Houston

Cathedral Fighting Irish linebacker Carson White, a Class of 2025 standout, has committed to the University of Houston. The 5A prospect chose the Cougars over other Power Five offers, citing the team's 3-4 defensive scheme as a key factor in his decision. White believes he can contribute immediately to the Cougars' linebacking corps, which is expected to lose several key players to graduation. He also praised the university's strong academic programs, particularly the Bauer College of Business. White had previously committed to the University of Texas, but he decommitted in April after re-evaluating his options. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker is considered one of the top prospects in the state of Indiana for the Class of 2025.
