Mill Valley Jaguars Break Ground on $3M Facility Upgrade

The Mill Valley Jaguars, a 5A program from Shawnee, broke ground on a $3 million facility upgrade this week. The Jaguars finished last season with a 7-3 record, their best mark in over a decade. The upgrade, which includes a new weight room, locker rooms and artificial turf field, is expected to give the program a competitive edge in the Kansas 5A classification. Jaguars head coach, Ryan Cornelsen, has been recruiting top talent from the Kansas City area and is optimistic about the team's chances this season. The facility upgrade is also expected to attract more top recruits to the program, further solidifying Mill Valley's position as a top contender in the 5A classification.
