Walker's Academic- Athletic Balance on Display as Jaguars' QB
Mill Valley's Hunter Walker threw for 2,500 yards and 22 touchdowns in his sophomore season, leading the 5A Jaguars to a 7-3 record. But what's equally impressive is the Class of 2027 quarterback's ability to balance his on-field duties with a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. Walker's academic prowess has earned him a spot on the National Honor Roll and recognition as a Kansas Honor Scholar. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound signal-caller has already received interest from several Division I programs, including Kansas and Kansas State. As the Jaguars prepare for the upcoming season, Walker will look to build on his impressive sophomore campaign and prove himself as one of the top QBs in the 5A classification. Scouts will be watching to see how Walker handles the increased pressure and competition, particularly in the pocket, and whether he can maintain his high level of production while also excelling in the classroom.
