The Derby Panthers, a 6A program, have broken ground on a $1 million facility upgrade. The Panthers finished last season with a 7-4 record. The new facility will feature state-of-the-art locker rooms, a renovated weight room and improved training areas. The upgrade is expected to enhance the program's recruiting efforts, drawing top talent from the region. It also positions the Panthers for increased competitiveness in the 6A classification. 'This upgrade will give us a significant edge in terms of facilities and resources,' said Panthers head coach. 'We're excited to see the impact it will have on our program and our players.' The facility is expected to be completed in time for the start of the upcoming season.
