Derby Flag Football Prospect Garners Interest from Nebraska Powerhouse, NAIA Programs
Derby Panthers flag football standout, junior Emily Wilson, has caught the attention of top collegiate programs. The 6A prospect has received verified interest from the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 flag football team, coached by Liz and Katie Sowers, as well as Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 NAIA scholarships available. Additionally, Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, have also expressed interest in Wilson's recruitment. With UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program in development, Wilson's options are expanding. To take advantage of these opportunities, Wilson will participate in the University of Nebraska's summer flag football camp, July 25-27, and meet with Ottawa University coaches during their upcoming visit to Kansas. As a top prospect in the state, Wilson's recruitment is one to watch.
