Bryce Hall Commits to SMU

๐Ÿ“ Lawrence Free State FirebirdsยทWednesday, July 22, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Lawrence Free State Firebirds quarterback Bryce Hall has committed to play for the Southern Methodist University Mustangs. The Class of 2026 signal-caller chose SMU over other Division I offers. Hall's decision was influenced by the Mustangs' pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset and playing style. He also cited the opportunity to compete for the starting job immediately, as well as SMU's strong academic reputation and resources. Hall visited SMU's campus multiple times and was impressed by the university's commitment to student-athlete success. The Firebirds' quarterback leader threw for 2,500 yards and 25 touchdowns in his junior season, earning all-conference honors. Hall's commitment to SMU marks a significant addition to the Mustangs' recruiting class. He will officially sign with the program during the early signing period in November.
