Noah Thompson Commits to Texas Tech
Mill Valley running back Noah Thompson has committed to Texas Tech. The Class of 2025 standout, who rushed for 1,243 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior, cited the Red Raiders' run-heavy scheme as a key factor in his decision. Thompson believes he can thrive in the system and potentially earn a significant role early in his career. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound back also praised Texas Tech's strong academic program, which aligns with his own academic goals. Thompson previously held a commitment to Kansas State, but reopened his recruitment in April. He attended Texas Tech's summer camp in June and developed a strong relationship with the coaching staff. With the departure of several running backs from the 2023 roster, Thompson sees an opportunity to contribute immediately in Lubbock.
