Devon Anderson: From Setback to Starting Spot
Mill Valley Jaguars kicker Devon Anderson has been a force to be reckoned with on the field, averaging 42-yard punts and nailing 12 of 15 extra points last season. But what's even more impressive is the journey that brought him to this point. As a sophomore, Anderson suffered a season-ending ACL injury that left his future in doubt. Yet, he refused to let it derail his plans. Through intense rehabilitation and a strong support system, Anderson worked his way back onto the field. Now, as a senior and one of the top kickers in 5A, he's poised to lead the Jaguars to victory. With his powerful leg and pinpoint accuracy, Anderson is a threat on every punt and kick. Scouts are watching to see how he adapts to new defensive schemes and whether he can maintain his high level of performance throughout the season.
