St. Xavier Tigers Flag Football Players Eye New Scholarship Opportunities Amid KHSAA Pilot District Expansion
As the University Interscholastic League's (KHSAA) flag football pilot district expansion gains momentum, St. Xavier Tigers players are capitalizing on the growing landscape of verified scholarship programs. The Tigers, a 6A powerhouse from Louisville, are now within reach of top NAIA and NCAA Division I programs. Ottawa University, Kansas, with up to 12 scholarships, and Keiser University, Florida, an active recruiter, are among the schools actively pursuing St. Xavier talent. Meanwhile, the University of Nebraska, an inaugural 2028 Power 5 program, is expected to announce its flag football scholarship offerings. Midland University, Nebraska, and UT Arlington also have active recruiting efforts underway. St. Xavier players interested in pursuing flag football scholarships should focus on building relationships with these programs and attending summer camps to increase their visibility.
