Speed and Agility Drills for S Players at Boyle County Rebels

๐Ÿ“ Boyle County RebelsยทSunday, July 12, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The Boyle County Rebels are looking to make a deep run in the 4A playoffs this season, and their speed and agility drills are a key component of their pre-season training. One drill that S players should focus on is the 'Ladder Carioca Drill.' This drill improves foot speed, agility, and reaction time. To set up the drill, players will need a ladder and a pair of cones. The drill consists of three sets of 10 reps, with a 30-second rest in between sets. Coaching cues include 'quick feet' and 'stay low.' Players will start in a carioca drill position, with their feet shoulder-width apart and their knees slightly bent. They will then weave through the ladder, focusing on quick footwork and staying balanced. This drill translates to game performance by allowing S players to quickly change direction and stay one step ahead of defenders.
