Texas A&M Extends Offer to Catholic High LB DeShawn Young

Texas A&M has extended a scholarship offer to DeShawn Young, a 5-foot-11, 215-pound linebacker from Catholic High in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Young, a junior in the Class of 2027, has also received offers from LSU, Alabama, and Georgia. In his sophomore season, Young recorded 75 tackles, including 22 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He was named Second-Team All-District and was a key contributor to the Bears' 8-3 record. Young's offer from Texas A&M marks a significant development in his recruitment, as he continues to attract attention from top programs across the country.
