Malik Robinson Commits to SMU

St. Augustine Purple Knights offensive lineman Malik Robinson has committed to Southern Methodist University for the class of 2026. The 4A prospect chose SMU due to the Mustangs' pro-style offense, which aligns with his skills and experience. Robinson is expected to compete for a starting position on the left side of the line, potentially bolstering the unit's depth and athleticism. SMU's academic reputation and strong engineering program also factored into his decision. Robinson previously held offers from several Power 5 schools, but ultimately chose SMU for its overall fit. He was not known to have decommitted from any previous schools prior to his commitment to SMU.
