Catholic High Bears' Multisport Star Eyes Flag Football Scholarship Opportunities
With the inaugural 2028 season of NCAA Division 1 flag football on the horizon, Catholic High Bears' standout athlete, Emily Wilson, is shifting her focus to the emerging sport. A decorated multisport athlete, Wilson has caught the attention of top programs. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is a prime target, offering a Power 4 program with a strong commitment to women's football. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, is also in the mix. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, both active recruiters, are also on Wilson's radar. As UT Arlington develops its program, Wilson will continue to monitor its progress. To maximize her chances, Wilson is working on highlight tapes and attending summer camps to showcase her skills.
