Penn State Extends Offer to Catholic High DE Cade Martin

Penn State has extended a scholarship offer to Cade Martin, a 5A defensive end from Catholic High in Baton Rouge. Martin, a junior in the Class of 2027, stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 230 pounds. He recorded 45 tackles and 10 sacks as a sophomore, leading the Bears to a 7-4 record. In addition to Penn State, Martin holds offers from LSU, Alabama and Texas A&M. He also has received interest from Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Martin's recruitment is expected to gain momentum in the coming months as he prepares for his junior season. He plans to take official visits to Penn State and LSU in the fall, with a decision potentially coming after the season.
