Ohio State Extends Offer to Edna Karr OL Caleb Thompson

Ohio State has offered 2027 OL Caleb Thompson of Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, La. Thompson, a 6-foot-3, 280-pound lineman, has been a dominant force on the field, earning All-District honors in 2025. He recorded 20 pancake blocks and allowed just one sack in 10 games. Thompson's offer sheet now includes Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M, in addition to Ohio State. The Cougars' standout is expected to camp at LSU and Alabama this summer. Thompson's recruitment is expected to heat up in the coming months, with several Power Five programs showing interest. Thompson plans to take official visits in the fall, with a decision expected in December 2026. He currently holds a 3.5 GPA and is taking advanced courses in English and history.
