Catholic Memorial Eagles' Flag Football Prospects Eye Nebraska's 2028 Inaugural Season

๐Ÿ“ Catholic Memorial EaglesยทSaturday, July 4, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As the Catholic Memorial Eagles prepare for the upcoming girls flag football season, several prospects are setting their sights on the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers are building a program that will compete in the Big Ten Conference. For West Roxbury athletes, this means a new scholarship opportunity in the Power 4. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, also offer flag football scholarships, with Ottawa providing up to 12. Midland University, Nebraska, is an active recruiter. While UT Arlington's program is in development, it does not yet offer scholarships. Prospects can take concrete steps by creating highlight tapes and researching these programs to prepare for the 2028 recruiting cycle.
