Bryce Williams Commits to SMU
Catholic Memorial senior tight end Bryce Williams has committed to play for the Southern Methodist University Mustangs. The Class of 2027 standout chose SMU over offers from other Division I programs, citing the school's pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision. Williams believes he will have an opportunity to contribute immediately as a freshman, given the Mustangs' depth chart at tight end. Additionally, SMU's strong academic program and reputation for producing well-rounded student-athletes were major draws for the 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect. Williams, who was previously committed to Boston College before decommitting in February, will join the Mustangs in the fall of 2027. He is expected to play a key role in SMU's passing game, using his athleticism and size to create mismatches for the opposition.
