Trevon Anderson Commits to Navy
Duxbury High School running back Trevon Anderson has committed to play football at the United States Naval Academy. The Class of 2025 standout is a 5-foot-10, 180-pound back who rushed for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior. Anderson's commitment to Navy is a result of the Midshipmen's emphasis on a power running game, which aligns with his skillset. He is expected to compete for a spot in the backfield rotation, potentially behind senior quarterback Malcolm Perry. The Duxbury Green Dragons' athletic department offers a strong support system, with a 95% graduation rate and a 100% college acceptance rate. Anderson cited the Naval Academy's rigorous academic program and commitment to service as key factors in his decision. He decommitted from the University of New Hampshire in April, but has since found a new fit at Navy.
