Texas Extends Offer to Duxbury TE Marcus Thomas
The University of Texas has extended an offer to Duxbury Green Dragons tight end Marcus Thomas, a rising senior in the Class of 2025. Standing at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Thomas boasts impressive measurables for his position. He recorded 34 receptions for 533 yards and 7 touchdowns in his junior season, showcasing his ability to create separation and make plays down the field. Thomas has already received offers from Boston College, Holy Cross and UMass, in addition to the Longhorns. As a key contributor to the Green Dragons' offense, Thomas is expected to be a focal point in the team's passing game this fall. With the offer from Texas, Thomas' recruiting timeline is heating up. He is currently set to visit Boston College on July 24, followed by a trip to Austin, Texas, on August 7. The University of Texas is set to host an official visit for Thomas on September 3, as the Longhorns prepare for their season opener on September 10.
