Cameron Williams: S, Xaverian Brothers Hawks (Div I) - A Summer of Adaptation
Xaverian Brothers Hawks safety Cameron Williams made an immediate impact in his first season with the team, recording 75 tackles and 3 interceptions in 10 games. Transferring from a high school in North Carolina, Williams' impressive start has drawn attention from college scouts. Williams' experience playing in a 5A classification in North Carolina, as opposed to the MIAA's Division I, has presented challenges in adjusting to the Massachusetts style of play. However, his strong work ethic and dedication to film study have allowed him to quickly adapt to the team's scheme. This summer, Williams is focusing on refining his technique and building chemistry with his teammates. As the Hawks prepare for the upcoming season, scouts are watching to see how Williams handles the increased physicality of MIAA Division I football and if he can maintain his high level of play from last season.
