The Everett Crimson Tide's high-powered flag football program is generating buzz among local prospects, with several athletes eyeing opportunities to visit Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, this summer. Both schools boast NAIA programs with a strong reputation for developing talent. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships available, is hosting a camp in late July, while Keiser University is set to welcome prospects in early August. For local flag football athletes looking to take their game to the next level, these camps offer a chance to gain valuable experience and exposure. 'We're excited to see these talented athletes in action,' said Liz Sowers, head coach at the University of Nebraska, which will launch its inaugural NCAA D1 flag football program in 2028. 'Ottawa University and Keiser University are both excellent choices for students looking to pursue their passion for flag football.'
